I received these yesterday, so this is just my initial impression after a day of use. So far, I'm really impressed with the sound quality, ANC, comfort, battery life, and microphone performance on phone calls taken from home. The headphones feel premium, and the app offers plenty of customization options.

The bass is punchy and has the signature JBL sound, but it's not overly bass-heavy. It feels balanced, with clear vocals and good instrument separation.

One thing to note is that LDAC and JBL Spatial Sound (Soundstage 3.0) cannot be used simultaneously. You have to choose between the higher audio quality of LDAC or the immersive spatial audio experience.

I haven't had the chance to take them to the office or use them for long work calls yet. I'll update this review after a week of real-world use, especially regarding call quality, long-term comfort, and battery performance.

After using the headphones for a week, here's my experience:

Sound Quality:
I use a OnePlus 13R, and for some reason the audio sounds a bit muffled on it. However, when I paired the headphones with my wife's Pixel 9 and a colleague's iPhone, the sound was noticeably clearer. So I believe this is more of a phone-specific issue than a problem with the headphones. Overall, the audio quality is excellent, with punchy, signature JBL bass that isn't overwhelming.

Call Quality:
I spend most of my workday on Microsoft Teams calls. The microphones do pick up some background noise, but people on the other end could always hear my voice clearly. Even with a ceiling fan running at home, I never received any complaints about my voice quality.

Battery Life:
With approximately 7–8 hours of Teams calls every day, plus music playback with ANC enabled, I heard the low battery notification on the evening of the fifth day. That's impressive battery life for my usage.

Comfort:
The headphones clamp a little harder than I'd like. I'm getting used to it, but a slightly looser fit would have been ideal. During long sessions, the lower part of my ears starts to feel sore. I confirmed this with a colleague who owns the same headphones, and they experienced the same thing. A few adjustments during use make it manageable.
Bluetooth Range & Connectivity:
The Bluetooth range is excellent. I can walk around while on Teams calls and even move two cubicles away without any audio dropouts or stuttering.

A Couple of Tips:
Initially, the touch controls weren't responding properly, but performing a reset fixed the issue completely.

If the headphone buttons don't control your phone's volume, enable the option to sync your phone's volume with the headphones in your Bluetooth settings.
